Guna Lok Sabha is situated in the Shivpuri, Guna, and Ashok Nagar districts of Madhya Pradesh. It is among the 29 Lok Sabha constituencies in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. The constituency engulfs the entire Ashok Nagar district and parts of the Guna and Shivpuri districts. As per the 2011 Census, the rural and urban population is approximately 76.66% and 23.34% respectively out of a total 24,93,675 population. The ratio of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes is 18.11 and 13.94 respectively out of the total population.

According to the 2019 voter list, there are 16,75,724 voters and the number of polling booths is 2,170 in this constituency. In the 2019 parliamentary election, the voter turnout was 70.34% while it was 60.89% in the 2014 parliamentary election. The BJP, INC, and BSP got 52.11%, 41.45%, and 3.18% votes respectively in the 2019 parliamentary election whereas the BSP, INC, and BJP got 2.81%, 52.94%, and 40.57% respectively in the 2014 Parliamentary Election. Krishna Pal Singh Yadav of BJP is the current Member of Parliament of the Guna Lok Sabha constituency.

Krishna Pal Singh Yadav of BJP achieved the Guna Lok Sabha Constituency on the verge of 1,25,549 votes by beating Jyotiraditya M Scindia of the Indian National Congress. He gained 6,14,094 votes. Mungaoli, Ashok Nagar (sc), Kolaras, Bamori, Picchore, Chanderi, and Shivpuri are the assembly constituencies embodied in the Guna Lok Sabha constituency. During the previous Lok Sabha election in 2014 Guna had recorded 1,605,619 voters out of them 748,291 female and 857,328 male. The constituency observed a 60.83% voter turnout in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections. In Guna, the female voter turned out to be 52.81% and males 67.83 for voting. A total number of 11 candidates competed in this constituency.

Guna Lok Sabha: Krishna Pal Singh Yadav is an Indian leader and a Member of Parliament of the Guna Lok Sabha constituency. He crushes Jyotiraditya M Scindia from the Indian National Congress at the time of the 2019 Lok Sabha election. Yadav also served as Scindia’s Member of Parliament-representative prior to he got separated from him ahead of the 2018 assembly polls due to a controversy about him being denied an assembly ticket from Mangaoli. He pursued his Bachelor’s in Ayurveda, Medicine, and Surgery degree from Bhau Mulak Ayurvedic University.

The first election of the Guna Lok Sabha constituency was held in 1952. The Member of Parliament was Vishnu Ghanshyam Deshpande. In early 1964, V G Deshpande called for Pakistani and Indian governments to take action on a population exchange shifting the Hindu minority of Pakistan to India and ejecting the Muslims of Assam and West Bengal to Pakistan. Deshpande maintained getting selected from two Lok Sabha constituencies which are Guna and Gwalior in the 1951 General Election. In Guna, he maintained to obtain 56,518 votes, and in Gwalior, he secured 65,695 votes. He denied his Gwalior seat to sanction Hindu Mahasabha President N B Khare to complete it in a By-election.
