A Germany-based Informative YouTuber Dhruv Rathi made a video on the Indian Government and called Narendra Modi a dictator on his work style. This video went viral within a few days and it crossed 10 Million plus views. A narrative was set for the opposition to target him and people started believing Narendra Modi a dictator. We will discuss thoroughly what were the things and acts of Narendra Modi’s Government that made him popular as a dictator.

Head on Collision of Narendra Modi with Supreme Court’s Decision

Narendra Modi-led Central Government took down several decisions of the Honourable Supreme Court. Delhi transfer and posting bills and the appointment of the Chief Election Commissioner of India are the main bills. In Delhi transfer and posting bills Supreme Court decided that the transferring and posting powers will remain to the Delhi Government. Meanwhile, the central government passed the bill in Parliament within 24 hours to repel the decision of the Supreme Court and gave powers to the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi.

The same incident happened again when the Chief Justice said there would be a 3-member jury who would appoint the Chief Election Commissioner of India. It will consist of the Leader of the Government, the Leader of the Opposition, and the Chief Justice of India. Narendra Modi again took down this decision and replaced the Chief Justice of India with a senior Cabinet Minister.

Negligence of Other Cabinet Ministers

Narendra Modi: It is believed that Modi avoids the other cabinet ministers. He forces his frame of mindset on others. He also interferes with the work of the cabinet ministers. Cabinet Ministers feel highly disgraceful when certain work or schemes get promoted by Modi’s name instead of the cabinet ministry department. There is always external pressure on the cabinet ministers to do something extraordinary. By doing something extraordinary then only they will get recognized for their work.

Usually, we see the face of Narendra Modi everywhere whatever the advertisement is irrespective of the Cabinet Minister. When it comes to flagging off the train, the Prime Minister will always be there to get fame. But in case of any tragedy or mishappening, the Cabinet Minister will be responsible only. The unrecognition of the Cabinet Minsters’ work is the main reason behind it.

Arrogant Personality of Narendra Modi

Usually, people believe that Narendra Modi is the most arrogant personality in today’s Indian political era. Opposition party leaders always blame him for disrespecting their dignity. Narendra Modi doesn’t listen to anyone except Amit Shah. He always used to tease other opposition leaders by making fun of them. But when it comes to him he can’t take it back and starts crying in election campaign rallies.

Unaccountability and Zero Press Conference

Narendra Modi never took a Press Conference in his 10 years of Prime Minister tenure. He is the first Prime Minister who never attends the Press Conference. He never talks about the promises he made during the election campaigns in 2014. Modi never presents the report card of his government. He only believes in his “Mann Ki Baat” not in Janta Ki Baat”.

In election rallies, he never speaks about his successful schemes only targeting the Congress. It is the duty of the Prime Minister to speak about his government’s performance, not on opposition. If we remove Hindu-Muslim, Mandir-Masjid, Pakistan, and Kashmiri Pandits’ words from his speech he will be unable to speak. There is too much recession and inflation in India but Narendra Modi is only busy in targeting Congress what they had done in 70 years. He never takes responsibility and accountability for his work and always tries to escape.

Misuse of ED, CBI, and IT by Narendra Modi

In recent years we have seen how dominantly ED, CBI, and IT raided opposition leaders and arrested them. The opposition says Modi has no guts to face opposition without the central agencies. They also say ED, CBI and IT are the puppets of Narendra Modi’s hand and he is missing them deliberative. Instructing them to charge a false case against the national and regional leaders of the opposition parties to destroy them.

We saw this in the Chattisgarh legislative Election when the ED raided Bhupesh Baghel and summoned him to appear against them. After the successful victory in the Chattisgarh election ED gave clear sheet to Bhupesh Baghel. Most of the opposition leaders are joining the BJP due to the fear of the central agencies.

In the last few years, we saw how Narendra Modi tried to demolish the Aam Aadmi Party by arresting them under PMLA in the so-called Delhi Government’s Excise Policy. They arrested Sayendra Jain, Manish Sisodiya, Sanjay Singh, and now the Chief Minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal. ED is trying every bit of them to make sure Narendra Nodi wins the General Election of 2024. One thing we need to remember central government changed the criteria for getting arrested and getting bail under the PMLA Act. It states that you are guilty until you are proven innocent.

No grooming of other BJP leaders

In the recent elections, we saw how deliberately Narendra Modi changed the leadership of the state government. In Madhya Pradesh, BJP Government has been there for more than 20+ years. Under the critical situation and anti-incumbency, former Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh took BJP par 150+ seats. BJP changed the Chief Minister and replaced Shivraj Singh Chouhan with a newly elected MLA Mohan Yadav.

The same incident happened in Rajasthan as well. BJP successfully defeated Congress under the leadership of Vasundhara Raje. Narendra Modi replaced her with a first-time elected MLA Bhajan Lal Sharma. It shows the insecurity of PM Modi that no one should be able to stand against him within the party.

Now there a rumours within news sources that Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath might get replaced by someone after the completion of the Lok Sabah Election 2024. Yogi Adityanath is the self-made leader and he has his own image within the party and in Uttar Pradesh. Most of the journalists believe that he will be able to secure his position. Yogi Aditynath is the only leader who is standing tall against him and will challenge him when the time comes.

Conclusion

After discussing all these points, I don’t think we need more clarification as to why Narendra Modi is called a Dictator. These are enough evidences to prove him an insecure, unaccountable Dictator.
