Surya Kumar Yadav is going through one of the worst phases of his cricketing career. Surya Kumar Yadav scored a hattrick for the Golden Ducks in the series against Australia. In the first two matches at Wankhede and Vizag, Mitchell Starc dismissed him LBW on the very first ball in a similar fashion. So, the team management decided to send him in the lower order where he can express his natural game. Surya Kumar Yadav came to bat after the dismissal of Virat Kohli. This time Australian left-arm spinner Ashton Agar bamboozled his wickets in the IND vs AUS 3rd ODI at Chepauk Stadium, Surya Kumar Yadav made an unwanted record of scoring a hattrick of Golden Ducks in the same series.

IND vs AUS ODI: Star Indian batter and former captain Virat Kohli throws his wicket to Ashton Agar at the crucial time of the match. It was clearly seen in the middle that Ashton Agar was creating problems for him. Ashton Agar was bowling his last over of the match. The only thing which Virat Kohli was required to knock the ball around the ground and rotate the strike. He went for the aerial shot against Ashton Agar and was caught by David Warner at the long-off. He could have easily avoided this thing by prevailing a sense of awareness. In the previous over of Ashton Agar, Virat Kohli played a similar shot at the similar fielder. But the ball just dropped short of David Warner at long-off. He could have taken India home easily if he valued his wickets at that time.

Overconfidence of Hardik Pandya

IND vs AUS ODI: After the loss of 6 wickets for just 186 runs, it was all up to Hardik Pandya to take India home. Ravindra Jadeja and Hardik Pandya were playing sensibly till the 42nd over of the match. India was requiring 52 runs from 42 balls. Hardik Pandya tried to slog Adam Zampa for 6 but did not time the ball well. Steve Smith does the rest and Hardik departed. The game was in the hands of the Indian team at that moment. They both were knowing that they are the only recognizable batter right now and nobody is there in the end. Hardik Pandya should have taken the game deep to the 47th or 48th over and then they should have gone for the boundaries and big runs. All and all Indian team did not read the situation well and let the game go away from their hands.

IND vs AUS ODI: Unusual approach of Skipper Rohit Sharma

IND vs AUS ODI: The Indian skipper Rohit Sharma is short of runs from the last ICC ODI World Cup 2019 in One Day Internationals. He only scored 1 century in the last 4 years and that too in the last ODI series against Sri Lanka. He is not trying to stick on the crease as he is looking for the big shots very early in the morning. As a skipper, he should take responsibility for the batting failure and losing the series against Australia at home. It is an interesting fact that if the skipper is not valuing his wicket then what he should expect from others? Rohit Sharma should have changed his mentality and approach toward the batting. He should find a way to play the big knocks as he was doing before under Virat and Dhoni captaincy.

He is been very animated throughout the series. It was Steve Smith’s captaincy that made a clear difference in winning the ODI series between India and Australia.
