Suryakumar Yadav made his first-class class debut in opposition to Delhi during the 2010-11 Ranji season. Suryakumar Yadav was named in the Twenty20 International (T20) squad for their series in opposition to England in February 2021. It happened to be his maiden International call-up to the Indian Cricket Team. He made his T20I debut for India on March 14, 2021, against England. After, he performed in the fourth game of the series on 18th march and got a chance to bat and strike the first ball in International cricket for a six, proving to be the first Indian to do so in T20 International. And went on a track to score a half century. His innovational performance at No 3 led him to be announced as an ‘X Factor’ player by his captain.
On July 18, 2021, he made his ODI debut for India against Sri Lanka. He scored his maiden ODI fifty against Sri Lanka on July 21, 2021. Yadav was titled in India’s squad for the 2021 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in September 2021. Suryakumar scored his maiden T20I century in opposition to England in July 2022, where he secured 117 off 55 balls.
He is the only fifth player to track record a century in T20I and second to extend the mark batting 4th or lower. He became the rapid batsman to secure 1000 runs in T20Is, extending the mark in 573 balls in opposition to South Africa in October 2022. On October 27, 2022, he scored the fourth speedy half-century by an Indian batsman at a T20 World Cup. And his first at a T20 World Cup outreaching the mark in 25 balls against the Netherlands at Sydney Cricket Ground.

His family details
Yadav’s family belongs to Hathouda village of Ghazipur in Uttar Pradesh. Suryakumar was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra in Hindu Yadav family. His father, Ashok Kumar Yadav, migrated from Ghazipur to Mumbai for a job in the Bhabha Atomic Research Center. At that time, Suryakumar was only 10 yrs old. His mother’s name is Swapna Yadav and also he has a younger sister, Dinal Yadav. He grasps cricket while playing in the streets of Varanasi. Yadav’s father noticed his willingness towards the game and enrolled him in a cricket camp in the BARC colony in Anushakti Nagar at the age of 10. After that, he went to Elf Vengsarkar Academy of former International Cricketer Dilip Vengsarkar and played the age group cricket in Mumbai.
