Hyderabad Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency is among one of the 17 Lok Sabha constituencies in the state of Telangana in southern India. The boundary of the Hyderabad parliamentary took place in 2008. Apart from the Hyderabad constituency, there are four more Lok Sabha constituencies throughout the capital city of Hyderabad. They are Malkajgiri, Secunderabad, Chevella and Medak. Venkaiah Naidu of BJP once contested in the Hyderabad constituency but lost to Sultan Salahuddin Owaisi by 73,273 votes. Asaduddin Owaisi of AIMIM won the Hyderabad parliament constituency on the verge of 2,82,186 votes by defeating the BJP candidate, dr Bhagavanth Rao. Asaduddin Owaisi of AIMIM is the incumbent Member of Parliament of the Hyderabad constituency.
The suburban general constituency has an approximate Scheduled Caste population of 3.89% and a Scheduled Tribe population of 1.24%. The approximate literacy level is 81.71%. The total number of electors and voter turnout is calculated by percentage in the 2019 Lok Sabha election.

Asaduddin Owaisi is a Strong Candidate of Hyderabad Lok Sabha Constituency
Asaduddin Owaisi, born on May 13,1969 is the President of All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM). He represents the Hyderabad constituency in Lok Sabha. He is 4-time Member of Parliament. For many years he has been regularly recorded among the 500 most powerful Muslims in the world.
He belongs to the AIMIM party, where his father and grandfather have been Presidents. Asaduddin made his political debut in the year 1994 in the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly election. In the 1999 election, he defeats his nearest rival candidate, Syed Shah Noorul Haq Quadri of the Telegu Desam Party, by 93 thousand votes. He polled 126 thousand votes in the election.
In 2004 Owaisi’s father, Sultan Salahuddin Owaisi who was representing Hyderabad constituency in Lok Sabha, denied contesting further due to poor health. The constituency consists of 70% Muslims. He polled 38% of votes compared to his nearest rival, who had 28% of votes.
Owaisi as True Muslim
Owaisi supported the United Progressive Alliance. The Indo US Nuclear deal was signed by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and the President of US, George W Bush, which permitted India to keep nuclear bombs but had to allow for International inspection. Owaisi filed his nomination for the Hyderabad constituency in April 2014. He announced movable assets 2.7 million rupees and immovable assets worth 30 million rupees. He got elected once again and defeated Dr Bhagavanth Rao on the verge of 197 thousand votes.
The results of the 2008 Mumbai Attacks Owaisi command that action should be taken against Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi and Hafiz Saeed for killing innocent persons. He stated that the enemies of the country are the enemy of Muslims. Owaisi supports the reservation of Muslims who belongs backward in education and Government jobs. He maintains to state that he is against Hindutva ideology but not Hindus. He argues for the ending of Haj subsidy given to Indian Muslims for travelling to Mecca. He also stated to boycott Triple Talaq.
When was the First Parliamentary Election held in Hyderabad?
The first Lok Sabha election was held from 1952 to 1957 where the MP was Ahmed Mohiuddin of the Indian National Congress. He was elected twice in the first Lok Sabha and second Lok Sabha election, which was India’s first and second general elections held in 1951 and 1957 after Independence.
