The 2 goal scorers merged exquisitely in the 69th minute when Messi tormented Josko Gvardiol with a mesmerizing dribble before setting up Alvarez for his fourth of the tournament. Alvarez was pushed into the goal by Dejan Lovren after he carelessly put him onside, and Livakovic hauled him out. Messi hasn’t always performed great at penalties, but he produced a precise shot to match the occasion and score his 11th World Cup goal. The second goal was created on the community fields in Calchin, Cordoba, whereas the initial one was the consequence of hours of repetition in luxurious training facilities. On the half line, Alvarez took control after Marcelo Brozovic’s cross from a short corner was stopped. Croatia was confused by Nahuel Molina’s blitz around the side, and Alvarez persevered to complete it on his own despite attacks from Josip Juranovic and Borna Sosa

ARG vs CRO: Messi’s technical excellence

Messi came close to scoring his 2nd goal. When he exchanged touches with Enzo Fernandez and forced Livakovic into a fantastic save at his goal line. But he still had one more bit of magic to work so that Alvarez could achieve a strike. That was far easier to accomplish than his first.

Due to Gvardiol’s accomplishments in this competition, transfer rumors had him valued at £100 million. But he discovered himself transfixed when Messi outran him. Glanced behind, and whirled through him once again to hand Alvarez an opportunity. The great guy awaits the conclusion.

When Vlasic won a free kick on the outside of the area, he almost had an instant effect. But Modric mishit his floating free-kick.

Messi’s 57th-minute one-two allowed him to enter the area as Argentina proceeded to defend and assault on the break. As they did for the majority of the game. Messi took a shot from a tight angle while under stress, but his off-balance effort was unimpressive. It was Argentina’s 6th goal-scoring attempt for the game; Croatia. Despite possessing over two-thirds of the territory in the opening hour, had yet to score.

Leandro Paredes replaced by Lisandro Martinez in the 62nd minute. Seemingly to modify the protective alignment.

Luka Modric and his team failed to convert a Single Strike

Lovren’s long-range attempt blocked already when Majer’s low shot successfully stopped.

  1. Hey, honestly your site is coming along :-), but I had a question – it’s a bit slow. Have you thought about using a different host like propel? It’d help your visitors stick around longer = more profit long term anyway. There’s a decent review on it by this guy who uses gtmetrix to test different hosting providers: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q6s0ciJI4W4 and the whole video has a bunch of gold in it, worth checking out.
