LQ VS IU: Lahore Qalandars beat Islamabad United by 110 runs in the Match No.16 of Pakistan Super League at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. Qalandars showed the all round display of superb batting and bowling as they wrapped the whole Islamabad United team on just 90 runs. Lahore Qalandars posted the target of 201 runs inside the 20 overs against Islamabad United. Rahmanullah Gurbaz was the top scorer for Islamabad United as he scored 23 runs from 17 balls. David Wiese bowled brilliantly in the match and picked 3-fer for himself and the team. David Weise received the Player of the Match Award for his superb all-round performance with the bat and ball.

Both the openers Mirza Baig and Fakhar Zaman added 58 runs for the opening wicket in 6.2 overs. They both made 71 runs partnership for the 3rd wicket in just 44 balls. Abdullah Shafique made 45 runs from 24 balls before getting out to Tom Curran and caught by Rahmanullah Gurbaz. Shafique hits 4 fours and 2 sixes in his quick and vital innings. Hussain Talat also lost his wicket in the next over to Shadab Khan. Shadab Khan caught him plumb in front of the wicket on the score of 6 runs. Sam Billings made 33 runs from 23 balls with the help of 5 fours. He also lost his wicket to Tom Curran.
In the end of the innings, Sikandar Raza, David Weise, and Rashid Khan put some fireworks and took Lahore Qalandars score to 200/7. Sikandar Raza made 23 runs from 10 balls with 2 fours and 1 six. Meanwhile, David Weise and Rashid Khan scored 12 and 18 runs respectively.
Tom Curran is been the most successful bowler for the Islamabad United as he picked 3 wickets meanwhile skipper Shadab Khan grabbed to 2 wickets. Abrar Ahmed and Hassan Ali share 1 wicket each together.

LQ VS IU: Islamabad United openers Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Colin Munro gave solid start of the innings. They both added 41 runs from 4 overs. LQ VS IU: Islamabad United lost the wicket on the regular intervals after the dismissal of Colin Munro. They kept losing the wicket by playing unnecessary shots.
