NZ vs ENG: England has not started well from the overnight score of the 4th day of the 2nd test of the 2-test match series. England lost the wicket of Ollie Robinson early in the morning session. New Zealand Test Skipper Tim Southee removed Ollie Robinson for just 2 runs from 15 balls. In the space of just 6 runs, Ben Duckett also got out to Matt Henry caught by Tom Blundell. Ben Duckett made 33 runs from 43 balls with 2 fours and 1 six.

On the score of 80 runs, England lost 2 crucial wickets of Ollie Pope and Harry Brook. Neil Wagner dismissed Ollie Pope for just 14 runs from 27 balls. Ollie Pope only manage to score 2 boundaries in his short innings. The in-form batter Harry Brook got out early on the Golden Duck. The superb through of New Zealand off-spinner all-rounder Michael Bracewell ended the unstarted innings of Harry Brook. England lost half of their side for just 80 runs while chasing 258 runs.

NZ vs ENG: The experience duo & seasoned campaigner Joe Root and Test skipper Ben Stokes added 121 runs for the 6th wicket partnership. Joe Root and Ben Stokes took the England score par to 201. New Zealand pacer Neil Wagner broke the partnership by dismissing the England test team skipper Ben Stokes. Ben Stokes caught Tom Latham on the score of 33 runs from 116 balls. He stayed on the crease for 149 minutes and hits 6 boundaries in his marathon innings.

In the space of just 1 run, Joe Root also got out to Neil Wagner caught by Michael Bracewell. Joe Root made 95 runs from 113 balls and smashed 8 fours and 3 sixes in his crucial innings.

NZ vs ENG: New Zealand pacer Neil Wagner showed a brilliant display of bowling on the 5th day of the 2nd test match. Neil Wagner grabbed 4 wickets for 62 runs from 15.2 overs. He bowled with an economy of 4.04 in the 2nd innings. He took the wickets of Ollie Pope, Ben Stokes, Joe Root, and James Anderson. Wagner made a very good comeback in the 2nd test after being remained off-color in the 1st test match. Meanwhile, Tim Southee and Matt Henry took 3 and 2 wickets respectively.

NZ vs ENG: Harry Brook received the Player of the Series Award for his sensational performance in the series. Harry Brook made 329 runs in the 4 innings of the series and also took 1 wicket. Meanwhile, former New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson received the Player of the Match Award. Kane Williamson scored 4 runs in the 1st innings and 132 runs in the 2nd innings of the 2nd test of the 2 test match series.
