Indian Women team qualified for the Semi-finals of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup. Indian team is on the 2nd place after the England in the Group 2 of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup. Smriti Mandhana played spectacular innings of 87 runs from 56 balls. She smashed 9 fours and 3 sixes in her innings. Smriti Mandhana is been awarded with the player of the match Award. India posted the target of 156 runs for the Ireland Women team. The rain came into play when they were 2/54 after 8.2 overs. Ireland Women’s were 5 runs short of the Duckworth Lewis Method score.
India Women won the toss and elected to bat first
IND-W VS IRE-W: Indian Women skipper Harmanpreet Kaur won the toss and decided to bat first. Indian openers Shafali Verma and Smriti Mandhana scored 42 runs inside the batting powerplay.
