BGT 2023: On Day 2 of the 1st Test Match between India vs Australia, India stumps Day 2 with 321/7. India leads by 144 runs and is still to bat on with unbeaten innings of Ravindra Jadeja and Axar Patel. Ravindra Jadeja is not out on 66 from 170 balls and Axar Patel is on 52 from 102 balls. Todd Murphy is the most successful bowler for Australia as he picked up the fifer in the ongoing first innings against India. Indian Skipper Rohit Sharma brings up his 9th Test Century as he scored 120 runs from 212 balls. Australian Skipper Pat Cummins ended the brilliant innings of the Indian skipper Rohit Sharma.
BGT 2023: Jadeja and Axar added 81 runs for the 8th wicket
BGT 2023: Indian spin all-rounders Ravindra Jadeja and Axar Patel added 81 runs for the 8th wicket after the dismissal of the KS Bharat. India was in deep trouble when KS Bharat departed to Todd Murphy. They both batted brilliantly against the new ball. Pat Cummins and Scott Boland led the charge for Australia with the second new ball. Ravindra Jadeja has been phenomenal on his comeback after the knee surgery. He took the 5 wicket haul in the 1st innings of Australia and is now not out on 66 with the bat. It is all expected that he will bring up his ton on Day 3 of the 1st of the BGT 2023.
BGT 2023: Axar Patel played his part brilliantly in the partnership and rotated the strike at regular intervals. Axar Patel is still not out on 52. Hopefully, he will bring up his maiden test century on Day 3.
Rohit Sharma played as Captains Knock
BGT 2023: Indian Skipper Rohit Sharma played superb innings of 120 runs from 212 balls. He smashed 15 fours and 2 sixes during his innings in the first innings of the 1st test of the BGT 2023. Rohit Sharma got out to Australian Skipper Pat Cummins as the new ball did the trick for him. He cleaned him up with his off stumps flying. In the 80th over of the Indian innings, Australia got the second new ball.
BGT 2023: Pat Cummins himself came to bowl with the new ball. Rohit Sharma got the lifeline on the 80.3 balls from Steve Smith. But he got out on the very next ball with the superb incoming delivery by Cummins. Rohit Sharma uses his footwork nicely throughout his innings, especially against Nathan Lyon and Todd Murphy.

BGT 2023: Australian Spinner Todd Murphy is been phenomenal with the ball on his test debut. He picked up 5 wicket haul against India in India which is a huge achievement for him. He bowled exceptionally well on the pitch where Nathan Lyon was struggling to find his right length and line.
Murphy got the big scalps on his test debut. Todd Murphy took the wickets of KL Rahul, Ravi Ashwin, Cheteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli, and Suryakumar Yadav. He still has an opportunity to go for many in the first innings of the first test of the BGT 2023.

BGT 2023: Indian Skipper Rohit Sharma, Indian Chief Coach Rahul Dravid and team management will eye on a huge first-inning total against Australia in the ongoing first test match of the BGT 2023. India has a great chance to reach to 450+ mark which will be an asset for the Indian team in the second innings of the Australian team.
