WPL 2023: Women’s Premier League is going to be started on Saturday, 4th March 2023. All the Women’s Premier League franchises have announced the name of their WPL Captains and Vice-Captains for the team. This is the first-ever edition of India’s Women’s Premier League is going to be held. Every franchise and spectator is expecting to start immediately as they can not wait for more of this. Every franchise took its time to decide to announce their WPL Captains and Vice-Captains to make perfect permutations and combinations. WPL 2023: The total of 5 franchises are participating in the inaugural edition of the Women’s Premier League, WPL 2023. Royal Challengers Bangalore, Delhi Capitals, Mumbai Indians, Gujarat Giants, and UP Warriorz are the 5 franchises that are taking interest in it. United Spirits are the owners of the Royal Challengers Bangalore’s IPL AND WPL teams. Meanwhile, Indiawin Sports are the owner of the Mumbai Indians IPL and WPL teams. JSW and GMR Groups are owners of the Delhi Capitals IPL and WPL teams.

Gujarat has two teams in their name Gujarat Giants and Gujarat Titans. Adani Wilmar Limited is the owner of the Gujarat Giants WPL team. Meanwhile, CVC Capital Partners are the owners of the Gujarat Giants team.

Same as Gujarat, UP also has 2 teams in their name Lucknow Super Giants and UP Warriorz. RPSG Group is the owner of the IPL’s Lucknow Super Giants team. Meanwhile, Capri Global Holdings Private Limited is the owner of WPL’s UP Warriorz team.

Smriti Mandhana will lead the Royal Challengers Bangalore side in the inaugural edition of the WPL 2023. Mumbai Indians appointed Indian Skipper Harmanpreet Kaur as the captain of their WPL team. Meg Lanning will lead the Delhi Capitals team in the Women’s Premier League (WPL). Gujarat Giants appointed Beth Mooney as the captain and Sneh Rana as the deputy captain of the team. Australian star batter Alyssa Healy is been named as the captain of the UP Warriorz team and Deepti Sharma is vice-captain of the team.

WPL 2023: Women’s Premier League (WPL) is been released by BCCI and it will begin on Saturday, 4th March 2023. The finale of the WPL 2023 will take place on 26th March at Brabourne Stadium. The inaugural match will take place between Gujarat Giants and Mumbai Indians at DY Patil Stadium.
