PAK vs NZ Semifinal: Pakistan was the most effective team in the Powerplay. New Zealand elected to bat first as they won the toss. However, Finn Allen started off acting with his bat for New Zealand with a boundary off the first ball; his continue at the wicket was rather a short term, with him leaving on the third ball of the innings.

Just when it noticed that Devon Conway and Kane Williamson had imparted some stability with the ones and twos and a couple of good inning blows, Conway ran himself out and was trying for a quick single in the last ball of the powerplay. The left-handed batter desired to take a single, but it was Shadab at mid-off who assembled the ball perfectly and fired in a correct throw to catch Conway short of his crease. Therefore the Kiwis ended the first six overs at 38/2.

Glenn Philips also got out cheaply to Pakistan left arm spinner Muhammad Nawaz. The New Zealand team score suddenly appeared like 49/3 from 7 overs. New Zealand Skipper Kane Williamson and all-rounder Daryl Mitchell build a partnership and took team to the respective total.

Kane Williamson (46), and Daryl Mitchell (53), attached many runs to the board as New Zealand completed at 152/4 in their quota of 20 overs. Meanwhile New Zealand were 15 run shorts to the par score at the Sydney Cricket Ground as per the reports. The slow inning of Kane cost the New Zealand team very badly.

PAK vs NZ Semifinal: Shaheen Afridi had an easy start to the T20 World Cup in Australia. But former Pakistan Women’s Captain Urooj Mumtaz stated that the fast bowler has been rising throughout. And was best in the semi-final victory against New Zealand.

Afridi was coming back from his serious knee injury at the beginning of the World Cup and grasped up 2 for 24 in the semi-final in Sydney. Hitting in his first over by trapping New Zealand opener Finn Allen lbw.

After taking 1-11 in his two overs in the powerplay, Afridi came back to bowl in the 15th and 17th, acknowledging only 13 runs and dispersing the well-set Kane Williamson for 46. Williamson was bowled, moving across the stumps and looking to hit behind square on the leg side. Afridi’s number 2 for 24 supported Pakistan’s limit to New Zealand to 152 for four and took his tally of wickets in this T20 World Cup to ten, marking him Pakistan’s joint-highest wicket-taker with leg spinner Shadab Khan. Nine of those wickets come from in his last three matches. After, Afridi went wicketless in opposition to Zimbabwe and India and took only one wicket against the Netherlands.

PAK vs NZ Semifinal: Rizwan gets fifty there off 36 balls. He struck five boundaries which are his 21st in T20I cricket. Rizwan gets a waist-high full toss from boult that he can only fasten into the hands of Glenn Phillips at a deep point. There was little doubt as to whether that’s no ball in height. But New Zealand envelopes their bases by effecting a run out at the non-striker’s end way. That doesn’t matter because that was a fair delivery and Rizwan was out. He was the Player of the Match.
