Both India and England have a lot of players who played against each other in the IPL, so very few unknowns are there in the match. Some of the best batters in the World are playing in this tournament, which is quite a high scoring which could have an exciting match. The match will be played at Adelaide Oval on November 10, 2022. 

India’s batting is very strong, and its group is better well-settled. England has more power and depth but has not utilized its resources so far. India’s swing bowlers could make the game tougher for the English batters.

IND vs ENG: According to the bookmakers, India is now gratify to win the T20 World Cup. But any team can get on a roll and achieve two T20 games or have a poor day. It is important to notice the team composition and recent form concerning matchups. 

India

Three out of India’s top four batters are in amazing form. KL Rahul begins slowly but advances rapidly. Virat Kohli makes the big bulk grounds with his fast running and routine shots. Rishab Pant and Hardik Pandya are two players who can give India a lot of power during the end overs. Alex Hales is also accompanying very well to his captain and providing good opening partnership to England. England all-rounder Sam Curran is in very good form with ball, bat and in the field. He is been key asset for England team till now. He is the only bowler in the tournament who took 5 wickets in an innings of the tournament against Afghanistan.

IND vs ENG: India will meet with England in the second semi-final on Thursday (November 10). The team topped Group B securing 8 points, while England completed second in Group A with 7 points. India has barely put a foot wrong in ICC the T20 World cup 2022. Only in opposition to South Africa did Rohit Sharma and Company face loss. 

England

The T20 World cup finally got their semi-finalists. England is the second team from Group 1 to qualify for the semis. However, they had a bad time when they lost to Ireland by 5 runs (DLS method) in a rain halt match. However, the team under Jos Buttler beat Afghanistan by 5 wickets. And Sri Lanka by 4 wickets, and New Zealand by 20 runs to book a place in the semi-finals.

India

On the other hand, team India under the captainship of Rohit Sharma, started their T20 campaign with a thrilling win over Pakistan, and Virat Kohli played a jewel in the innings in the history of T20 cricket. India wins their first two games against Pakistan and Netherlands by 4 wickets and 56 runs, respectively. But he lost the third game against South Africa by 5 wickets. However, India topped the Group after beating Bangladesh by 5 runs in a rain halt match and Zimbabwe in the final match by 71 runs.  

IND vs ENG: Weakness of Both Teams

IND vs ENG: Now against India, England needs to play its best. According to the news emerging, Dawid Malan may not be suitable in time for the match against India. He will be replaced by Phil Salt who will play his first game in the tournament.

India

Rohit Sharma is not quite conveying so far (one fifty against the Netherlands notwithstanding), but England will be upset about it. An approved match winner, Rohit Sharma is one of those players that can really obtain a big score once he gets on. 

Hardik Pandya is not been able to click with the bat after the first match against Pakistan. He thrown his wicket against South Africa and Bangladesh when team needed him the most. He has to understand the value of his wicket and can not throw his wicket anymore in a crucial knockout matches. Meanwhile it will be interesting to see that who will play as a wicket-keeper in the team as Dinesh Karthik has been failed till now.

England

Alex Hales, Jos Buttler, Moeen Ali, Liam Livingstone (enforcers with the bat), and Mark Wood (the fastest bowler in the tournament) can all turn the match on its top. The difficulty for England has been searching for a way to use its resources faultlessly. An early wicket or two can send flicker down the English group. There is also no certainty about Jos Buttler’s leadership as he makes absurd choices sometimes. 

Ben Stokes, England’s test skipper, has sometimes struggled to take effect in the shortest format but broke a disappointing run of 16 runs in three innings of the tournament with a best unbeaten 42 from 36 balls in a win over Sri Lanka. The plus point is he can keep calm under pressure.

IND vs ENG: The weather prediction for Adelaide is superb on the match day. There is a bit of rain forecast on Wednesday, but the scene for Thursday is very good. The pitch in Adelaide proves a little slow by the time the last couple of games were rest. However, a new surface will get adopt for this match. Also, time is enough to get the wicket make ready.
