IND vs ENG Semifinal: In the second semi-final of the T20 World Cup 2022 between India and England in Adelaide. England beat India by 10 wickets in the semi-final played at the Adelaide Oval Ground. The Indian team is out of the ICC T20 World Cup 2022. India set a target of 169 runs in 20 overs, which England easily achieved in 16 overs without losing a wicket. Opener Alex Hales and Captain Jos Buttler batted vigorously for England. Alex Hales scored an unbeaten 86 off 47 balls and  Captain Jos Buttler scored 80 runs off 49 balls. 

England will now face Pakistan in the final of T20 world Cup 2022 on November 13 at Melbourne Cricket Ground, MCG.

IND vs ENG Semifinal: England Skipper Jos Buttler won the toss against India and decided to bowl first. After being Invited to bat first Indian openers KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma once again failed to give a strong start to the team as both were back in the dugout inside 9 overs. The Indian captain and Vice Captain failed to give a positive approach.

The Indian captain got out after scoring 27 off 28 balls and Vice Captain KL Rahul got out after scoring 5 runs in 5 balls. KL Rahul was dismissed by  Chris Woakes in the second over of the inning after scoring 5 runs while Chris Jordan removed Captain Rohit sharma in the 9th over of the inning. He scored 27 runs.

Surya Kumar Yadav also got out early. He could only score 14 runs in 10 balls. He was sent to the pavilion by Adil Rashid in the 12th over.

Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya put India on a respective total

India lost 3 wickets on the score of 75. After that Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya took the lead. Both the batsmen smashed England bowlers all over the ground. Kohli and Pandya put on a crucial 61 runs partnership for the fourth wicket. Kohli scored 50 runs in 40 balls. He was dismissed by Jordan in the 18th over. Pant scored 6 runs in 4 balls and was run out on the third ball of the final over of the innings. In the same over, Hardik Pandya was out hit wicket on the sixth ball. He scored 63 runs in 33 balls which helped India to put a decent total on the board. India finished their inning on 168/5 in 20 overs.

IND vs ENG Semifinal: England Opener Alex Hales and captain Jos Buttler batted tremendously for England. Chasing the target of 169 runs,  both gave their team a quick start. Both the batsmen completely failed the Indian bowlers in the match by batting in a blazing style, after which the Indian team could not make a comeback in the match. Alex Hales scored 86 not out in 47 balls with 4 fours and 7 sixes. England Skipper Jos Buttler played an innings of 80 not out in 49 balls with the help of 9 fours and 3 sixes.  England easily chased down the target in 16 overs without losing a wicket and booked their berth in the ICC T20 World Cup Final at MCG on 13 November against Pakistan.

IND vs ENG Semifinal: Indian Bowlers failed to take a single wicket

IND vs ENG Semifinal: In the semi-final match against England, the Indian bowler was not able to take a single Wicket. The India skipper tried everything but Buttler and Hales did not give India a single chance to get back into the game. Every India bowler was smashed by the England opener. 4 of the 6 bowlers used by India had an economy rate of over 11 in the match while two had it over 7.

IND vs ENG Semifinal: The captain and the vice captain of the Indian side failed once again in a crucial game. Both Rahul and Rohit have struggled for form in this World Cup. In the semi-final against England, KL Rahul was the first one to get out in the 2nd over. He just scored 5 runs. Rohit Sharma struggled to make 27 runs off 28 balls and got out in the 9th over trying to hit a big shot. 

India’s best opening partnership in this World Cup was 27 runs which came against Zimbabwe. The opening batters have also struggled to put up strong individual scores in this World Cup. Rahul has scored 128 runs in 6 innings while Rohit has made 116 runs in the same number of innings.

IND vs ENG Semifinal: England captain Jos Buttler and Alex Hales shared an unbroken partnership of 170 runs. This is the highest partnership for the first wicket in the history of the T20 World Cup. Apart from this, it is also the biggest partnership in T20 World Cup history. Both the batsmen remain not out. Jos Buttler scored an unbeaten 80 off 49 balls, while Alex Hales scored an unbeaten 86 off 47 balls.

Virat Kohli became the first batsman to score 4000 runs in T20 International cricket

Virat Kohli made a new record of T20 International cricket during his innings against England. He became the first batsman in the world to score 4000 runs in the shortest format of cricket. Virat Kohli touched this figure as  he scored 42 runs against England. Virat Kohli is currently in first place in terms of scoring the most runs in T20 International cricket.
