It is hard to digest that Sultans lost the match with the players like Kieron Pollard, David Miller, and Khushdil Shah at the end to bat. Fakhar Zaman of Lahore Qalandars won the Player of the Match Award for his excellent innings of 66 runs from 42 balls. Multan Sultans will face off against Quetta Gladiators and Lahore Qalandars will face off against Karachi Kings in their next match.
Multan Sultans won the toss & decided to bowl first
LQ vs MS: Multan Sultans skipper Mohammad Rizwan won the toss against Lahore Qalandars and decided to bowl first. The decision of bowling first doesn’t look good. The Lahore Qalandars openers Fakhar Zaman and Mirza Baig added 61 runs for the first wicket. Akeal Hossein provided the first breakthrough for Multan by dismissing the Mirza Baig to Usama Mir. Mirza Baig scored 32 runs off 26 balls with 5 fours.
LQ vs MS: Fakhar Zaman kept on playing with Shai Hope and added 58 runs partnership for the 2nd wicket. Shai Hope got out to Pollard by Usama Mir on 19 runs from 17 balls with a six and a four. Fakhar Zaman scored 66 runs off 42 balls with 3 fours and 5 sixes.

LQ vs MS: Sikandar Raza and Hussian Talat flourished the innings beautifully at the end of their team innings. They both showed good hands and scored quick runs for Lahore Qalandars. Sikandar Raza scored 19 runs from 14 balls with a six and a four. On the other hand, Hussain Talat made 20 runs off 12 balls with one six and a four.
Usama Mir and Ihsanullah is been the pick of the bowler for Multan Sultans. They both got 2 wickets each in the innings.

LQ vs MS: Multan Sultans skipper Mohammad Rizwan himself came out to open the innings with Shan Masood. They both added 100 runs for the first wicket in 12.2 overs. Hussain Talat dismissed Shan Masood for 35 runs off 31 balls with 4 fours to Zaman Khan. David Miller and Mohammad Rizwan added 31 run partnership for the 2nd wicket inside the 3 overs to keep the chase on. LQ vs MS: Pollard & Miller failed to push Multan over the line
LQ vs MS: 46 runs were required from 26 balls with 8 wickets in hand. The match was all set to the exciting thriller. David Miller scored 25 runs off 20 balls with 3 fours before getting out to Haris Rauf in the 19th over. Kieron Pollard tried every possible thing to take Multan Sultans home but in the end, he got run out. He was looking to keep the strike to himself with 2 runs falls short of the crease. Kieron Pollard made 20 runs off 12 balls with one four and six.
Khushdil Shah smashed 2 fours on the last 2 balls to Zaman Khan but his team fell short of 1 run.
