Barcelona colloquially Barca is a city on the shore of Northeastern Spain situated 90 miles South of the France border. As to history, Barca was founded by either the Carthaginians or Phoenicians who had trading centers along the Catalonian coast. The club took part in its first of many European contests in 1910 and has since collected fourteen UEFA trophies and a sextuple. Barca co-established La Liga in 1928 which is the top tier of Spanish football along with a thread of other clubs. Barcelona has never been banished from La Liga as of 2020. Also in 2015 Barcelona obtained the Nine Values Cup which is an award for the International children’s social program Football For Friendship.
