AUS vs IND: Australian opener Usman Khwaja missed his double ton by just 20 runs. Khwaja played a marathon inning with 180 runs from 422 balls. He almost remained on the crease for more than 6 hours. He hit 21 fours in his gritty and resilient innings. Usman Khwaja smashed the 14th test ton of his test career and the first in India. Usman Khwaja hold the on end strongly and other batters kept on playing with him. Indian spinner Axar Patel caught him plumb in front of the wicket and got him LBW. Usman Khwaja lost his wicket on the very first ball just after the tea break.

AUS vs IND: Australian all-rounder Cameron Green brought up the maiden test ton of his career. He played a significant inning of 114 runs from 170 balls. He hit 18 fours in his brilliant innings and played with a strike rate of 67.05. Cameron Green made his comeback in the 3rd test at Indore after a thumb injury. He is the 2nd Australian player to hit a century in this Border Gavaskar Trophy. Ravichandran Ashwin dismissed Cameron Green to the hands of the wicket-keeper KS Bharat.

AUS vs IND: Indian off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin took 6 wickets in the innings for just 91 runs from 47.2 overs. He bowled very tight lines to Aussie batters and did not allow them to attack over him. This was his 32nd test fifer in the test career. He conceded the runs with an economy of 1.92. He took the key wickets of Travis Head and Cameron Green when the team required the most. Ashwin also dismissed Alex Carey, Todd Murphy, and, Nathan Lyon.

AUS vs IND: India will resume their innings on Day 3 from 0/36 at Ahmedabad in the 4th test of the Border Gavaskar Trophy. Indian skipper Rohit Sharma will look to capitalize on his innings on Day 3 to score big runs against Australia. The wicket looks good for the batting and it provides nothing to the bowlers. India will eye to score a massive total against Australia and get the lead of around 150-200 runs to remain in the match. Virat Kohli and Cheteshwar Pujara will also enjoy their batting on this surface. Hopefully, they will also score good runs on this flat wicket.
