SRH Owner: She is the daughter of Kalanithi Maran, CEO and chairman of Sun Group. Kavya Maran is also actively involved in Sun TV networks and FM channels. Kalanithi Maran, the father of a mystery girl is the grand-nephew of the late former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.

She is often seen supporting and cheering for team Sunrisers Hyderabad however, her identity was revealed recently when she lost her cool during the SRH vs Punjab Kings match.
