Hopefully, we will win the game tomorrow and give it as a gift to him on his 200th match as captain. “I hope to continue the momentum of how we have played in the last two games,” he added.
Ms. Dhoni leads his team Chennai Super Kings to wins in their last two matches against Lucknow Super Giants and Mumbai Indians. The match against Rajasthan Royals will be his 200th match as CSK captain.
Ranchi-born Ms. Dhoni is known as the best captain and greatest player in the history of T20 cricket. He becomes the 7th player to hit 5000+ runs in a T20 cricket match this IPL season. Dhoni will soon complete 1500 runs at CSK’s home stadium Cheapauk in the T20 tournament.
