India vs Netherlands 23rd T20 World Cup Match: In the Super 12 match of the T20 World Cup between India vs Netherlands at Sydney Cricket Ground, Sydney. India defeated Netherlands by 56 runs. This win will put them on the top of the table of Group 2 and also boost their net run rate. Batting first India produced a solid batting display with Rohit Sharma 53(39), Virat Kholi 62(44) and Surya Kumar Yadav 51(25) which helped India to finish their innings on 179/2. Chasing a target of 180 runs, None of the Netherlands batsmen could stand against the Indian bowlers. They kept losing the wickets in regular intervals and finished their inning on 123/9 in 20 overs.

India vs Netherlands: The decision to bat first after winning the toss went in favor of India. Skipper Rohit Sharma and Kl Rahul gave India a steady start both look calm and cool and played some good shots but unfortunately kl Rahul given out lbw by the on field Umpire.

Rahul decided to not review the decision but hawk eye showed the ball was missing the stumps. He was dismissed for a score of 9 run in 12 balls. After that Rohit Sharma along with Virat Kohli added 73 runs for the second Wicket.

Rohit made 59 off 39 balls with 3 sixes and 4 fours. Fred Klaassen dismissed Rohit Sharma and broke the partnership but India was in commanding position and the stage was set for Surya Kumar Yadav to go big and he did what only he can do in the World Cup. He shuffled this way and that, brought his wrists into play to whip and slice the ball into gaps, and found the boundary every time. He smashed his half century in just 25 balls.

Surya Kumar Yadav shared an explosive 95-run partnership with Virat Kohli to take India to 179/5 in 20 overs. Kohli scored 62 runs in 44 balls with three fours and two sixes, his second consecutive fifty in the tournament, while Surya Kumar Yadav played an explosive innings of 51 runs off 25 balls with seven fours and a six.

Chasing the target of 180 runs, the Netherlands team looked under pressure from the first over itself. Bhuvneshwar Kumar bowled maiden both of his overs in the powerplay and also took a wicket of Vikramjit in the powerplay. Vikramjit was dismissed after scoring 1 run in 9 balls.
He also took the wicket of Netherlands Skipper Scott Edwards. Edwards made 5 off 8 balls. The Netherlands lost wickets at regular intervals, due to which the team could not able to reach India’s target. Netherlands finish their innings on 123/9 in 20 overs.
For India, Bhuvneshwar, Arshdeep, Axar Patel, Ashwin got two wickets each. With this win, India has moved up to the top of Group 2 with 4 points.

Arshdeep Singh missed his first ever Hattrick

Arshdeep Singh was on the verge of his first ever hattrick of the career. It was the 17th over of the Netherlands innings and fifth ball of the over. He came round the wicket to Van Beek it was a short pitch ball on the stumps, Van Beek looks to pull but edge it through the keeper, it was a simple caught for Indian Keeper Dinesh Karthik.

The next batsman was Fred Klaassen to face Arshdeep Singh. This time Arshdeep Singh bowl a fiery Yorker, hits Klaassen on his left boot. Umpire gave it not out but India review it and it came in favor of India. Arshdeep got two in two in last 2 balls of the 17the over.
He came to bowl again in 19th over and
it was the mouthwatering chance for him to get the hattrick as the next batsman was the number 11 Van Meekeren.

He came again round the wicket to Van Meekeren. Arshdeep bowled a fired a yorker but ends on the pads down the leg side. He did not get the line right and missed the hattrick.

Unbeaten Virat Kohli in this World Cup

Virat Kohli is still not out in this World cup after two matches. Virat Kohli roared back to form. He remained not out in both the matches India played in this world cup till now. He smashed not out 82 run off 53 balls and single handedly win the match for India against Pakistan.It may be the biggest innings of his lifetime.
Today he scored not out 62 runs in 44 balls against Netherlands. It is well known that when Kohli does well India does well.
