The Melbourne bowlers never truly assisted by their inability to chase in clusters and take wickets frequently. Trent Boult, Luke Wood, and captain Adam Zampa all turned out to be expensive for them. With a superb performance of 1/20, veteran Nathan Coulter-Nile helped keep them in the contest. But in the conclusion, it wasn’t adequate because Vince was absolutely too brilliant on the particular day.
