He won the seat on the verge of more than 30 thousand votes. His politics started from the BJP itself.

Ghanshyam Lodhi left the Samajwadi party and joined BJP in the UP election in 2022. Member of Legislative Council Ghanshyam is close to Samajwadi party. MP Azam khan and his symbol in the election of MLC in the SP government came by helicopter. In such a situation going back to BJP will prove a setback for the SP. Ghanshyam stated that the Samajwadi Party had not respected the backward. But the BJP has given respect to the backward. Under the Prime Ministership of Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Aditya Nath, the country and state are both moving ahead on the path of development. Union Minister Anurag Thakur got him membership of the party. He said last year, a great leader of backward passed away, but the SP president did not give condolences by going ten steps away.

Whereas the BJP declared, the state mourning for the death of the great leader. And also offered him a final farewell. This is only a certification. There are many works that SP has done against backward. Though it is trustworthy that going to BJP shall prove a setback for the Samajwadi party.
