Moradabad Lok Sabha Constituency is one among 80 Lok Sabha constituencies placed in Western Uttar Pradesh in Northern India. This constituency was formed before 1952. Moradabad Parliamentary Constituency comprises a total number of 1,388,525 electorates among which 634,547 are females and 753,978 are males according to the Election Commission of India 2009 data. The administrative headquarters of the Moradabad district is located in the city of Moradabad. It is situated in the northern part of the state at a distance of 167 km from the National Capital, New Delhi. The official language of Moradabad is Hindi though Punjabi, Urdu, and English are widely spoken. Moradabad Lok Sabha constituency constitutes five Vidhan Sabha segments. Dr. S T Hasan of SP won the Moradabad Lok Sabha constituency with a verge of 97,878 votes by beating BJP’s Kunwar Sarvesh Kumar. Hasan achieved 6,49,416 votes.

Moradabad is a Lok Sabha of Uttar Pradesh situated in North India. The Moradabad Lok Sabha is reserved for the general. It is a semi-urban constituency with an estimated literacy rate of 64.89. In the previous election, the constituency had seen 65.46% voter turnouts in the 2019 Lok sabha election. Dr. S T Hasan of SP won by securing 6,49,538 votes. He defeated Kunwar Sarvesh Kumar Singh of the Bhartiya Janata Party who secured 5,51,416 votes. The majority is to be counted as 98,122 votes.

Dr. Syed Tufail Hasan is an Indian politician who has been a member of the Lok Sabha for Moradabad since 2019. Hasan has worked as mayor of Moradabad and shifted to the Bahujan Samaj Party in 2009 from the Samajwadi Party. Hasan competed for the Moradabad constituency as a candidate of the Samajwadi Party in the 2014 Indian General Election.

Moradabad Lok Sabha: He got defeated by Kunwar Sarvesh Kumar Singh of the Bhartiya Janata party. On March 13, 2019, the party declared that Hasan would compete in the forthcoming 2019 Indian General Election from Moradabad on behalf of Haji Nasir Qureshi. This was accepted as the local party leaders disliked when Hasan was refused a ticket. He was elected to Lok Sabha after beating Kunwar Sarvesh Kumar Singh by 97,878 votes on May 23. Hasan is a qualified doctor with MBBS and MS degrees from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Aligarh of Aligarh Muslim University.
