MI vs GG WPLMI vs GG WPL

MI vs GG WPL was indeed a great start for this premier league. In the opening match of Mumbai’s inaugural Women’s Premier League (WPL), Mumbai Indians defeated Gujarat Giants handily.

Similar to the first IPL game, the opening match of the inaugural Women’s Premier League saw Mumbai Indians defeat Gujarat Giants by a bigger margin than Kolkata Knight Riders did against Royal Challengers Bangalore in the summer of 2008. By establishing themselves as legitimate championship contenders right away. Harmanpreet Kaur and colleagues have successfully warned other sides of the threat they pose. In the meantime, Gujarat Giants will be concerned about skipper Mooney’s health as they take on UP Warriorz in less than 24 hours!

MI outclassed GG by 143 runs in the WPL 2023 first match at the DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai. The Giants surrendered at 64/9 after facing a humiliating batting collapse. As the Harmanpreet Kaur-led team scored a massive total of 207/5 in 20 overs. Dayalan Hemalatha (29) led the Giants in scoring. But none of the other batters in the batting order could reach double digits as the MI bowlers plowed through a helpless lineup.

Indeed, this match was great to watch for the views.
