Strengths

The Chennai Super Kings have 2 strong openers Ruturaj Gaikwad and New Zealand opener Devon Conway whose recent record may not be good but can contribute to the team with an excellent opening. The other player who can count as strength is the all-rounder, Ben Stokes. He may prove himself the best player from batting to bowling he can contribute his great performance at any stage. Stoke’s past achievements and flexibility are what make him stand.

Weaknesses

The team is lacking fast bowlers only Deepak Chahar can be counted as a skilled pacer with international playoffs experience. Other bowlers are lacking extensive experience so we cannot expect much from them. Players like Moeen Ali and Shivam Dube’s absence may impact CSK’s performance.

Players to Watch out for CSK in IPL 2023

Mukesh Choudhry may not play this season because of his back injury. He is one of the fine left-hand bowlers on the team and this season he may be out from participation. The other player who is doubtful to participate is Mohsin, he debuted last year with CSK and played against Lucknow Super Giants. The left-hand pacer played a significant role last year.
