If India lost today, they will lose the series and if India wins the match, then we will get the chance to celebrate. India defeated Australia in India long way back 5 years ago in 2017. From last 5 years Australia humiliating Indian team by defeating them on their home turf. We lost 4 consecutive matches against Australia on our own soil.
We saw in Mohali with what intentions Australia came here. The Australian batsman made a counter attack in the last game like they are attacking in hockey match. We didn’t win against Australia in hockey from many years and we became habitual of it. Cricket is a different game and we defeated them in many past series whether it is Test or ODIs but results are opposite in T20 Internationals.

Jasprit Bumrah is all set to make comeback for India vs Australia 2nd T20I
The Press Conference held by Indian Star batsman Surya Kumar Yadav before the match day in evening said Jasprit Bumrah is totally fit for the next game and surely, he will make comeback against Australia. In the absence of Jasprit Bumrah, Indian bowling being exposed badly in Asia cup 2022 and also in 1st T20 International. Bhuvneshwar Kumar was finding difficulty while bowling in death overs without his death over specialist bowling partner Jasprit Bumrah. He failed 3 times consecutively while bowling second last over.
Poor form of Indian Skipper Rohit Sharma is the sign of worry
Newly appointed Indian skipper Rohit Sharma is struggling with his poor from. The poor form continues as he is still unable to score runs. His drought of run is still continuing after 2019 ODI World Cup held in England & Wales. He scored record 5 hundreds in the same edition. No one ever scored more than 4 hundred in the single edition. He surpassed the Sri Lankan legend Kumar Sangakkara with 4 hundreds which he scored in 2015 ODI World Cup held in Australia and New Zealand. Rohit did not even manage to get pass the 100-run mark after that in limited format of cricket. The skipper himself needs to take the responsibility of the batting line-up and score some big runs for his team.
Rain could affect the India vs Australia 2nd T20I match
The practice session was cancelled due to heavy rain on Thursday. Players were unable to practice due to bad weather and went back to hotel room. After a long wait of 3 years Vidarbha Cricket Association got the opportunity to conduct the match in Nagpur.
Possible changes in both the teams
After the complete bowling failure in 1st T20 International against Australia, India possibly makes 2 two changes in playing 11. Jasprit Bumrah may replace Umesh Yadav and Deepak Chahar could get the chance in place of Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Australia could go unchanged for the second game as they outplayed India in every department in 1st game.
