Harmanpreet Kaur Shines as India Women won by 88 runs to clinch the 3 match ODI series 2-0 in the Second One Day International. They won the series in England after 23 years on their turf. Chasing a massive target of 334 runs, England were bowled out for just 245 runs in 44.2 overs. Renuka Singh Thakur is been the excellent throughout the innings and took 4 wickets for India. Hemalatha also took 2 wickets meanwhile, Deepti Sharma and Shafali Verma bagged one dismissal each. Initially, India posted 333 for 5 in 50 overs. Both sides will face each other once again in the third and final One Day International on Saturday at Lord’s, London.

Indian captain Harmanpreet kaur took the charge along with Harleen Deol and added 113 runs for fourth wicket as both batter reached their 50 run mark. Harleen Deol was dismissed on 58 by Lauren Bell. Harmanpreet kaur slams his 5th International Hundred in One Day Internationals. She remained unbeaten on 143 off 111 balls as India posted a massive target of 333/5. She smashed her last 43 runs in just 11 balls. In last 4 overs Indian team scored 71 runs. This was one of the best performances of Indian Women team against any team. Indian Women team managed 123 runs in last 10 overs.

On the other hand, chasing 334 runs England are never in the game as they lost three early wickets as the hosts were down to 47/3, Danni Wyatt came with positive intent and smashed 65 off 58 balls. Accept Danni Wyatt no other English batsman were able to score runs. Indian bowlers were extremely steam hot to handle for England batters. Harmanpreet Kaur played one of the best knock in women’s cricket. The India Skipper registered her Second highest ODI Score as she slammed unbeaten 143 run in just 111 balls with 18 fours and 4 sixes in her innings .Having Brought up her fifty in 67 balls. She only took 23 more balls to complete her century she completed her century in 100 balls. She play her shots all around the corner and completed her 5 ODI Ton.

Indian bowler Renuka Singh Thakur enjoyed bowling this venue and picked up 4 crucial wickets. She used the seaming conditions pretty well. Renuka got to swing and seam ball at both ways. She dismissed the England opener Lamb and Dunkley with inswing delivery. Her inswing deliveries were just too hot handle for England. In the end, she wrapped up the England’s inning by dismissing Wyatt and Ecclestone in quick succession. She managed to get 4 wickets for 57 runs.
