RCB vs MI IPL: RCB won their first match in IPl 2023 against MI by 8 wickets at M. Chinnaswamy stadium, Bangalore. The match was very interesting and many fans were seen in the stadium to support their respective teams. Faf du Plessis won the toss and decided to bowl first. This decision proved great for RCBs. MI managed to score 171/7 in 20 overs. Captain Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan came as opening batsmen. On the other hand, Mohammed Siraj from RCB started the match with bowling. Kishan hit 2 fours in 13 balls eventually, he caught out by harshal Patel when tried to hit 6. Surely, a bad luck for Mumbai Indians. The wicket brought many cheers and appreciations to Siraj. Losing important batsmen like Kishan was indeed a big loss for IM. Facing siraj was tough for captain Rohit as he also couldn’t make an impact on the match. He only made 1 run in 10 balls. MI lost 3 wicket in just a few inialt overs. RCB managed to dominate the match very well.
RCB vs MI IPL: Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis’s Partnership Shines Through the Match
Captain Faf du Plessis and Virat Kohli’s partnership shine through the whole match. Both the players were unbeatable giving a tough challenger to Mumbai Indians. Team MI sent many bowlers to keep the wicket but all of them couldn’t do better against the strong partnership. The pair came as opening batsmen and made 148 runs collectively in 14.5 overs.
Du Plessis was looking to end the game quickly. He tried to hit a big 6 but failed and caught. He hit 73 runs in 43 balls. RCB needed another 24 in 31 ball runs to get the victory. The great batter gets off to a great start in the 2023 IPL! An absolute great treat for RCB fans at Chinnaswamy stadium. Kohli finished the game with 82 runs in 49 ball. All and all, the match was fun watching and RCB smashed MI easily. All thanks to amazing bolwers like Siraj, Harshal, Akash, and batters like Kohli and Plessis.
